This year’s Copa America had some changes as Qatar and Japan partook in the tournament to allegedly make it “competitive”. Jose Mourinho, however had a different point of view.
In an interview, the legendary manager said, “About making Copa America more competitive by inviting teams from outside South America. How does inviting Qatar and Japan make it competitive? If you want to make it competitive, invite European teams…..invite Spain, Portugal…Cristiano might win the Copa America before Messi”.
