The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo in a tweet on the birthday of dancehall artist Shatta Wale, extended an invite to the musician to visit him at the Flagstaff House.
The President in a tweet which went viral stated that he wanted the musician to visit him
“You for come visit me for Flagstaff House o!” – Nana Addo tweeted.
This tweet came after Shatta Wale had earlier requested for a gift from the first gentleman on his birthday
He asked the president, “Your excellency, Tuesday is my birthday ..what are you giving me ..@NAkufoAddo
Today, November 1, the two gentlemen shared a moment at the Flagstaff house and it was truly memorable.
The president tweeted a couple of photos from Wale’s visit with the caption: “The “Dancehall King”, @shattawalegh, was at the Presidency this afternoon to pay me a visit, after my invitation to him, on his birthday.”
Also spotted were EIB Boss Bola Ray and the 2nd lady Samira Bawumia.
