Contrary to public perception that the Accra Mall, which had sections of its ceiling collapsing today, October 11 may be closed down for renovation — the Marketing of the facility has assured the public that the whole facility will be fully operational this evening.
Addressing the media Thursday afternoon outside the premises of the facility, marketing manager of Accra Mall, Mrs Eunice Asare explained that their team was working hard with other public organizations to ensure a quick and smooth clear up of the mall. Which means the mall should be fully operational this evening.
She however confirmed that at exactly 11:53 am today, there was a collapse of part of the ceiling at the mall and as a result 3 people were injured as we reported earlier. The 3 people who are said to have received minor injuries are however receiving medical care. The cause of the collapse is however unknown.
