2016 Grammy Award nominee for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Jidenna Theodore Mobisson known professionally as Jidenna has described multiple award winning Ghanaian rapper and CEO of NKZ Music, Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona aka as Guru as a “pretty tight” on the African continent.

Speaking on the UrbanXpress Hip hop Show with DJ Aljazeera, the Classic Man hit maker revealed he doesn’t really have a favourite African hip hop artist but had listened to a couple of artists on the continent that he really liked.

“I don’t have a favourite but I’ll mention a few that that I really like. In Ghana, I think Guru is pretty tight”, he said.

He also paid homage to Akon describing him as a pacesetter for African music across Europe and America.

Jidenna has also disclosed he’s currently working on a project that will feature one of the artists he likes from the African continent. Could it be Guru?

Guru as he is known has a countless number of hit songs dating back to making a huge entrance on the Ghanaian music scene with a collaboration with Obrafour.
