Aneta Corsaut was an American actress best known for her role as Helen Crump on the television series The Andy Griffith Show. She was born on November 3, 1933 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She began her career as a model and appeared in several television commercials before landing her first acting role in the 1956 film The Ten Commandments.

Corsaut went on to appear in numerous television shows, including The Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, and The Fugitive. She also had a recurring role on the soap opera General Hospital. Her most famous role was as Helen Crump, the girlfriend of Sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) on The Andy Griffith Show. She appeared in all eight seasons of the show and was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance.
