Ebony Was Ghana’s Beyoncé – Obuor

President of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kufuor, said Ebony was on her way to becoming Ghana’s version of American music icon Beyoncé with her unique voice and style.

Obuor as he is popularly known, the MUSIGA disclosed that one of Ebony’s songs ‘Sponsor’ was the most played song in 2017 with over 20,000 playtimes nationwide.

He said the 20-year-old was billed to leave the country for Belgium to begin her tour of Europe for the first time, on February 17 until the unfortunate incident.

“She was just on her way to another level as an artise,” Obour lamented.

He said a delegation from MUSIGA is already in Sunyani to condole with the mother of the late musician.
