Eden Hazard Receives Top Honor In Belgium
Chelsea F.C and Belgium talisman, Eden Hazard has received a top award for his stellar performances and leadership as Belgium finished third at the World Cup in Russia.
The government of Wallonia, the French-speaking southern half of Belgium has made him a Commander of the Walloon Order of Merit, an honor equivalent to that of a UK knighthood.
The government said, “We elevate Eden Hazard to the rank of Commander for the pride he has given all Belgians and for his world-famous abilities as a footballer”.
