Ghana Meets Naija, the annual musical concert between Nigeria and Ghana hosted by Empire Entertainment, comes live today at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

This year’s event is football-themed and has been dubbed “Clash of the Titans” and it also marks the ninth edition of the program hosted by Empire Entertainment.

Ghanaian artistes billed to perform include Patapaa, Medikal, R2bees, Kelvin Bwoy, Bless, Tulenkey, AK Songstress, Ras Kuuku, Opanka, Fameye, Narna, J. Derobie and Kofi Mole.

And artistes representing Nigeria are Teni, Wande Coal, Victor AD, Saltan, Moziz and other acts, as well as some guest countries including Barbados.

Meanwhile, tickets are just about sold out across the city, as fans are rushing to grab the remaining tickets to an event that has been billed as the biggest musical experience of the year.

Tickets are selling now for GH¢150 (regular), VVIP (GH¢300) at Empire Entertainment in North Ridge, Starr FM, Live FM, Airport Shell and all Nallem shops at the Accra, Junction and West Hills Malls.

The main DJ for the night is the award-winning DJ Vyrusky while DJ Putin and DJ Big N will square off during the battle session.

Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, arrived in the country ahead of the much anticipated Ghana Meets Naija Concert happening on June 8 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The singer is one of the headline acts for the annual music concert between Nigeria and Ghana hosted by Empire Entertainment.

In a video sighted by EonlineGH.Com, the “Uyo Meyo” singer promised to give free concert tickets to fans for their love and support.

Ghana Meets Naija Launched

THE 2019 edition of Empire Entertainment’s Ghana Meets Naija, aimed at promoting unity among Ghanaians and Nigerians and also creating an interactive atmosphere for music fans will come off on June 8 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The concert was launched on Friday, May 3 at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra and a good number of A-list and new artistes from Ghana and Nigeria were announced as performers on the night.

Running for nearly a decade, Ghana Meets Naija has become the most elite concert in West Africa, popular for traditionally parading the biggest pop practitioners on the continent.

Patrons Assured Of Maximum Security @ 2019 Ghana Meets Naija

Empire Ghana, organizers of the annual Ghana Meets Naija concert, has assured patrons of maximum security at Saturday’s event.

The assurance according to Empire, has become necessary in the wake of recent happenings at some venues. The Organizers have engaged through their security consultants; Asuavo Security Company Limited, and the requisite national security agencies to help maintain a decent environment.

“We place a lot of premium on the safety of our patrons and this year is not going to be an exception. We have maintained a solid reputation over the years, and we would want to continue that going forward,” Joseph Narnor, Empire Ghana said.

The 2019 edition of the Ghana Meets Naija concert takes place at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 8.

This year’s event is football-themed and features some of the biggest mainstream stars from Ghana and Nigeria, with special international act surprise.

R2Bees, Medikal, and Patapaa will lead Ghana’s contingent this year while Nigeria is ably represented by rising star Teni, as well as Wande Coal, and Victor AD.
