Ghanaians on twitter are not giving singer Becca a breathing space on the platform. The singer in a recent tweet chastised Ghanaians for advocating against racism in the US whiles in their own backyard they judge fellow Africans for marrying from different tribes.
Her tweet comes as a result of anti-racism solidarity protests and campaigns which has taken over across the globe in solidarity to George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man who died in Minneapolis, Minnesota after Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, pressed his knee to his neck.
The singer who is married to Oluwatobi Sanni, a Nigerian entrepreneur and artist manager, felt Ghanaians and Africans in general were being hypocrites tweeted
You are here in Africa fighting and advocating racism in the US but in your church/home, you are criticizing and judging someone for marrying a fellow African because they are not from your hometown/country/church… Damn Hypocrites!!!
However, her tweet did not go down well with some folks who took to the comment section to bash her…. read some tweets below
