Africa’s biggest streaming service; Boomplay, has started distributing plaques to top streaming artists on the platform.
The eleventh artist to receive this award is Ghanaian female singer and Superstar, Gyakie.
The hitmaker received a 5M milestone award for her hit single ‘Forever’, 8M milestone award for her ‘Seed EP’, and 10M milestone awards for her total streams on Boomplay.
The 21-year old songstress has had an amazing year with her smash hit, Forever, which took Africa by storm.
Following the success of the song, Gyakie recorded a remix with Nigerian superstar, Omah Lay. The remix also topped charts in Ghana, Nigeria and many African countries.
Currently, Gyakie has a total of 18.2M streams on Boomplay and she shows no signs of stopping. We are proud of the song bird as she keeps winning.
