Chinese telecom giant Huawei has cancelled their contract prematurely with Michael Owusu Afriyie, popularly as Teacher Kwadwo — EonlineGH.Com has learnt.
From what we gather, a group of women supposedly known as Pepper Dem Ministries reported the social media comic actor over some posts he made years ago which seemed to perpetuate rape culture.
The group we gather did not only report him to Huawei, but also to his employer, Ghana Education Service demanding his sack as well.
In a letter sighted by EonlineGH.Com and addressed to Teacher Kwadwo, GES seemed to have transferred the affectionate teacher from his current school although vital portions of the letter were covered.
Portions of the letter read
“Our attention has been drawn notably to your social media posts of September 22, 2016, November 2, 2016 and May 5, 2017 all of which tend to objectify sex, promote, sustain and perpetuate the rape culture”
Consequently, Teacher Kwadwo has deleted all posts relating to Huawei and has cautioned his fans not to mention or tag him in any of their products.
