Actress and Producer Yvonne Nelson has warned the opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) to desist from using her name for headlines.
The actress who is not happy about how her recent post on the erratic power supply, Dumsor, has been misquoted by the NDC to suit their agenda has cautioned them against it.
According to her, all she remembers was that the ‘dumsor’ which was making life unbearable for her during John Mahama’s era came to an end two weeks after she held her vigil.
“NDC, listen, stop using me for your sweet headlines. I haven’t campaigned for ANY political party since i was born. My tweet about solving dumsor is exactly what happened when i held my vigil. DUMSOR ENDED two weeks after the vigil. STOP Misquoting me.” she wrote
She continued that people in this country no longer use their common sense to judge issues, but rather react with what she calls their ‘party sense’.
“Is too TRIBAL, until then, enjoy the TRIBALISTIC GHANA, a time when people don’t use common sense but only their party sense. Hopefully our kids and their kids will love GHANA and not political parties.” she wrote
She added that she was not interested in involving herself with the activities of any political party since they were all hypocrites who will turn on you any time you were against them.
“You guys think im here thinking about political parties ? Naaa. Same people who hailed me at the vigil are here insulting , trust me when i say this, if im ever gonna do anything for ghana, my motivation will come from RYN and her generation. my generation”
