Former HIV/AIDS ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has confirmed to the media and to the general public that she’s indeed HIV positive.
The mother of two came down from Germany two days ago in a bid to clear all doubt about her HIV status.
She organized a press conference at the GIJ conference room in Accra where she took the tests together with her kids. She also had her family; mother and uncle there for support.
When the results came out, she tested positive for the virus while her kids – one boy and one girl – tested negative.
