Junior Agogo To Be Cremated On September 20th, 2019

The Agogo family has announced the date for the cremation of the late Manuel Junior Agogo who passed away on August 22, 2019, in a London hospital after a long battle with stroke via their spokesperson.
Cremation is the act of burning the corpse of a dead person.
Normally, ashes are kept from the burnt bodies and used to remember the dead person.
The late Junior Agogo will be cremated on September 20, 2019 in London.
Agogo’s death sent shivers down the spines of the sporting world as many looked forward to seeing him recover fully from his ailment thus stroke. However, death had other plans and chose to lay its icy hands on Ghana’s beloved son.

 

Final burial date for Junior Agogo & other details announced

Junior Agogo played for a host of clubs in the English Championship which included: Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham, Chester City and Queens Park Rangers.

After the CAN 2008, he joined Egyptian giants Zamalek.

He managed 27 caps for the Black Stars and scored 12 goals. He won bronze with the team at the 2008 African Cup of Nations.

He will be remembered as a player who put smiles on the faces of all who watched him play.

In Ghana, he was christened “the ladies’ man” due to his physique.
