Kelly Maxwell is an American professional softball player who currently plays for the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). She is a two-time NPF All-Star and was the 2017 NPF Player of the Year.
Born on August 8, 1993, in San Diego, California, Kelly Maxwell grew up playing softball. She attended the University of Arizona, where she was a four-time All-American and a two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year. She was also a member of the USA Softball Women’s National Team from 2014-2017.
Maxwell was drafted by the Chicago Bandits in the 2017 NPF Draft and made her professional debut in 2018. She quickly established herself as one of the top players in the league, earning NPF All-Star honors in 2018 and 2019. In 2017, she was named the NPF Player of the Year after leading the league in batting average (.400), home runs (14), and RBIs (50).
