The xenophobic attacks in South Africa has received worldwide condemnation. And Nigerian celebrities have not shied away from condemning this horrendous attitude of some South Africans.
Tiwa Savage has reiterated her love for Africans irrespective of whether they are Nigerians or not. Replying to a South African twitter user with the user handle, @ThusoMatsobane, who shockingly sought to play the victim by saying that no one has butchered Tiwa Savage’s people (Nigerians), the songstress tweeted, “killing anyone that is African are my people whether they are Nigerians or not”.
On the hindsight, it is very shocking that this South African found the impetus to tweet such a message, considering the video evidence of the attacks on fellow Africans.
