Know About Tyus Jones Sister, Brother And Family

Tyus Jones is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted 24th overall in the 2015 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jones is the younger brother of former Duke University basketball player, Tre Jones, and the older brother of Jade Jones. He is also the son of former NBA player, Robert Jones.

Tyus Jones was born on May 10, 1996 in Apple Valley, Minnesota. He attended Apple Valley High School, where he was a four-year starter and two-time Minnesota Mr. Basketball. He was also named the 2014 Gatorade National Player of the Year. Jones was a McDonald’s All-American and was named to the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team.

Jones’ older brother, Tre, is also a basketball player. He played college basketball at Duke University and was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. Tre is currently playing for the Canton Charge of the NBA G League.

Jones’ younger sister, Jade, is a basketball player as well. She currently plays for the University of Minnesota. She was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2018 and was a member of the USA Basketball Women’s U19 World Cup Team in 2019.

Tyus Jones’ parents are Robert and Debbie Jones. Robert is a former NBA player who played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, and Denver Nuggets. He is currently an assistant coach for the Timberwolves. Debbie is a former college basketball player who played for the University of Minnesota.
