Melissa Stark is an American television personality and sportscaster who is best known for her work on NBC’s Sunday Night Football and ESPN’s Monday Night Football. She has also worked for ABC’s Good Morning America and Fox Sports.
Born on November 11, 1973, in Baltimore, Maryland, Melissa Stark is the daughter of a former NFL player and coach. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism.
Stark began her career in television in 1995 as a reporter for ESPN’s SportsCenter. She then moved to ABC’s Good Morning America in 1998, where she served as a correspondent for two years. In 2000, she joined NBC’s Sunday Night Football as a sideline reporter, a role she held until 2006.
