Menzgold Assures Customers Will Receive Payments Of Dividends Starting Tomorrow But…..

Embattled gold dealership company, Menzgold, has revealed that payments of dividends will be made to their customers starting tomorrow.

To avoid crowding at their various branches, the company has employed a schedule plan for payments — urging customers to only visit their branch for collection on their stipulated date.

“To that end, we’ve set out a payment schedule starting tomorrow to be circulated to all our customers” the company said in a press release available to EonlineGhana.Com

“It is pertinent to note however that the period starting Wednesday 12th September to date while the Gold Vault Market has remained forcefully shut by the SEC regrettably shall not attract any forms of returns whatsoever, as the business of the gold trade has been and still is dormant” they sharply added in the press briefing statement held today at the Zylofon Media Headquarters.

Earlier, the company filed a law suit against the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bank of Ghana.

The company in its suit is seeking from the court an order directing the two institutions to stop interfering in its business.

Menzgold also asked the court to stop the Bank of Ghana and the SEC from publishing what it described as “derogatory notices” against its business.
