Michael Williams is an American singer and songwriter who rose to fame after appearing on the popular singing competition show, American Idol. He was born on August 15, 1995 in Los Angeles, California.
Michael Williams began his music career at a young age, performing in local talent shows and singing in church choirs. He was inspired by his parents, who were both professional singers. He attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where he studied vocal performance.
In 2016, Michael auditioned for the 15th season of American Idol. He made it to the top 24 and eventually finished in the top 10. His performances on the show earned him a loyal fan base and he was praised for his powerful vocals and stage presence.
After American Idol, Michael released his debut EP, “The Journey”, in 2017. The EP featured five original songs, all of which were written and produced by Michael himself. He has since released several singles and has performed at various venues across the United States.
