Elsewhere In Nigeria – Meet Jane, The Female Graduate And Professional Barber

Jane, treating Maji to a cool hair cut

Ayuba Maji, a Nigerian took to his Facebook to share photos of his friend who hasn’t allowed her female gender prevent her from chasing her dreams to become a professional barber.

She is Jane Samson, a graduate from Kaduna is based in Abuja. Maji used her story to encourage ladies to never wait on any man before they make it. See his post below:

“Come o, who says Nigeria youth are lazy? And who says what man can do, a woman cannot do? Oyah see. This friend of mine inspired me today knowing what she’s does for a living. She’s a graduate but no time to wait for the government frustration. She’s good and dedicated to her business, just ask for any haircut. She will give you the best of it. Nigerians rise, our destiny is in our hands. Never wait for the best of the government. My brothers and sisters, you will get nothing and you will wait in vain. This is a challenge to other beautiful ladies out there waiting on a man to feed them. Go and look for something to do. Don’t rely on any man else you will complain in the long run.”
