Akwasi Frimpong, an athlete who defied all odds by being the first African to compete in a Skeleton event at the Olympics has had an awesome start to the year.
He secured a top 20 finish in Canada whiles ensuring that his protégé, Jennifer Boateng refined her monobob skills.
The year couldn’t get any better for Akwasi as he has realized a lifelong dream of being a TEDx speaker. Akwasi has been selected as one of the main TEDx speakers to mount the podium on January 21 in Alkmaar-Netherlands.
