Shatta Wale’s “fallout” with Sarkodie especially after the latter’s collaboration with Beyonce has been surprising. Sark and Shatta have always been seen in the public eye as good friends.
However, in recent days Shatta Wale has been “speaking his mind” on Sarkodie’s “wrongdoings”. Sarkodie’s charges according to the Dancehall King ranges from being bossy and hypocritical to giving “needless” advices.
Wait o! Did Shatta Wale really say that Sarkodie was silent when the VGMA brouhaha with Stonebwoy occured?
Of course, I know that there are a lot of things which go on behind the scenes and that it is mostly advisable to “keep quiet” if you do not happen to know the happenings behind the scenes. But whatever the case may be, “the greater good” must REIGN.
Shatta’s collaboration with Beyonce is a victory for the nation – and it is a sign that Ghana’s music has come of age. The least thing that should emanate from that is to have The Alpha and The Reign in disharmony.
Sarkodie and Shatta Wale are amongst Ghana’s finest musicians who have what it takes to make it to the echelon of the global music industry. They needn’t “spend” time “dissing” each other.
If not for anything, we must be reminded that it’s Sarkodie, Shatta Wale’s Guardian Angel in 2013.
