The All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA , which is designed to promote the distinct rich African music worldwide, engaging millions of fans by propelling African music to glorious pinnacles beyond the borders of Africa is out with its 2015 nominees list. Singer Efya, Wiyaala, Dark Suburb, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and more are among the nominees from Ghana. Voting Officially starts today, August 21st 2015. This year’s event is slated to take place at Lagos in Nigeria from November 13 to 15, 2015. Consequently, Nigeria, a beautiful country known for its energy and warm hospitality won the rights above 13 other countries to host the AFRIMA for three consecutive years from 2014 to 2016. AFRIMA is a combined effort to recognise, award, promote and preserve Africa’s rich music culture. In partnership with the African Union, AU, it is expected to be the biggest music event in Africa.
