Ghana’s biggest outdoor entertainment event dubbed the ‘S Concert’ came off yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This year’s event, the Neon Edition was expected to host over 50 mainstream and upcoming musicians but for some reasons some of these artists couldn’t perform on the night.

One of Ghana’s biggest acts, Samini, who was also one of the headline acts on the night couldn’t perform even though he was waiting patiently backstage. In a video posted shortly after the event on his facebook page, Samini explianed that the organisers failed to go by their time they give him.He disclosed that the event organisers gave him 1:30 AM but he was at backstage for almost four hours after the stipulated time without any explanation from them.

“I don’t normally complain like this but guess what, this is getting out of hand. I’m sorry to the fans who came out to the stadium to see me but I’m not doing the show and I’ve left the stadium. we have to stick to, we have to make sure organisers communicate right with the artiste. you don’t keep me backstage almost four hours and have me wait for people to take turns on stage while I still sit backstage without knowing what to do. So basically, my call time was 1:30 and I stayed backstage till 4 o’clock and I had to leave” Samini gave an explanation.

EonlineGhana.Com gather that Samini was supposed to perform before Shatta Wale but Wale entered the stage before him and spent over 2 hours on stage performing.

This pushed the other performers back into the early mornings when basically all the patrons have left the stadium, leaving the place virtually empty and as such the rest of the acts couldn’t perform.
