Today marks the 63rd year since Ghana gained Independence from its colonial masters. Well, though our independence has been marred by poor governance, we’ll focus on that later. Let’s turn attention to the number one attention seeker in Ghana’s Entertainment Industry…… Charles Nii Armah Mensah or Shatta Wale.
Schools in Ghana celebrate the Independence Day by going on a parade. And in Nkawkaw, a school known as Christiam International School followed the tradition.
However, the difference was that students of the above mentioned school marched in ‘The Reign’ branded socks….. which is the name of a Shatta Wale album.
Their gesture didn’t go unnoticed by the Dance Hall King who heaped praises and blessings on the school and its students for supporting his brand.
