Tiare Jennings is an American professional softball player who currently plays for the Oklahoma Sooners. She is a two-time All-American and the 2019 Big 12 Player of the Year. Jennings has also been named to the USA Softball Women’s National Team.
Biography
Tiare Jennings was born on August 8, 1998 in San Diego, California. She attended La Jolla High School, where she was a four-year letter winner in softball. Jennings was named the San Diego Union-Tribune Player of the Year in 2016 and was a two-time All-CIF selection.
In 2017, Jennings committed to the University of Oklahoma to play softball. During her freshman season, she was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team and was an NFCA All-Region selection. As a sophomore, Jennings was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and was an NFCA All-American.
In 2019, Jennings was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and was a unanimous All-American selection. She was also named to the USA Softball Women’s National Team.
