The show which which took place at Royal Lamerta Hotel had Samini, Mzvee, Wutah, Kidi, and Kwame Eugene as performers on the night was eventually cancelled due to low patronage.
EonlineGhana.Com is reliably informed that the event was such a total flop that less than 20 people were in attendance.
The event, which was to be hosted by GHone’s Berla Mundi and was expecting close to 2000 people turned out to be a total embarrassment as people refused to patronize it.
Interestingly, Oseikrom’s finest rapper Flowking Stone was also having his own show dubbed “Oseikrom Shutdown” the same night at the Kumasi Mall which was actually free for all and as such recorded a massive turn out.
So apart from the poor publicity on the part of the organizers, the poor patronage could also be attributed to Flowking Stone’s free concert on the night.
However, some agitated patrons requested for refunds as tickets for the event were sold at Ghc50 regular, 80cedis VIP and 80cedis couple.
Those who were there as at 1am got their monies refunded when they saw the band packing their equipment as reported by akrasibridget.com. No formal announcement or whatsoever was made to the few people who were present.
