Outspoken TV personality Nana Aba Anamoah was recently involved in a twitter-joke-gone bad which cost her her job and reputation. The host of “The Diva’s” show on TV3 was taken off air after she posted a photo-shopped picture of herself at Old Trafford, deceiving fans. In a statement that was subsequently released and signed by Chief Executive Officer of the station, Augustus B. Dickson, the management decided to suspended the newscaster indefinitely. For the past week a lot of celebrities have thrown their weight behind the soccer fanatic to get her reinstated — with some stating that TV3 network erred in their decision to suspended her based on professionalism when the station itself is noted for defying professionalism in their duties. Ghana’s rap doctor, B.R.A Kwame is however urging the station to reconsider their decision since he forgave them when they falsely accused his wife of divorcing him. Do you think Okyeame Kwame has a point? Read his statement below.
I remember four and half years ago when TV3 falsely reported that my wife had divorced me. It was a dent to my person especially since they never retracted that statement. But I freely forgave them. On the same score, they should forgive Nana Aba. What do you think?
