VIDEO: Mahama’s Son, Sharaf, Embarks On Project in Bole To Empower Kids Through Football

Sharaf Mahama, son of former President John Dramani Mahama, has started a project to empower young people in his hometown.

The 23-year-old known for his prolific footballing skills embarked on a mission with his teammates to support young people in his hometown (Bole-Bamboi) which is located in the northern part of Ghana.

He was seen engaging with the kids while using the medium to encourage, support, and show them, love, through football. He also hosted a friendly match between some of the local footballers.

Sharaf has played for Belgian side KV Mechelen and also played in ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah’s testimonial match in 2015 and was even training with Ghana Premier League side WAFA during the Coronavirus-enforced lockdown.
