Vivian Kao is the wife of Singaporean entrepreneur Shou Zi Chew, the co-founder and CEO of Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and food delivery platform. Vivian is a successful businesswoman in her own right, having founded her own venture capital firm, Kao Ventures, in 2017.
Vivian and Shou Zi Chew met in college and have been together ever since. They married in 2014 and have two children together. Vivian is a strong supporter of her husband’s business endeavors and has been instrumental in helping him build Grab into the success it is today.
Vivian is a graduate of the National University of Singapore, where she earned a degree in Business Administration. She also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
