When Was Bryce Young Drafted?

Bryce Young is one of the most highly touted quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders with the 17th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Young was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and was ranked as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the 2020 recruiting class. He was a two-time Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year and was named the MVP of the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game.

Young had a successful career at the University of Alabama, where he was the starting quarterback for two seasons. He threw for 5,812 yards and 56 touchdowns in his two seasons with the Crimson Tide. He also rushed for 545 yards and seven touchdowns.

Young was widely considered to be one of the top quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was projected to be a first-round pick and was ranked as the No. 2 quarterback in the draft by ESPN.

The Raiders selected Young with the 17th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He is the first quarterback the Raiders have drafted in the first round since JaMarcus Russell in 2007.

Young is expected to compete for the starting job in Las Vegas. He will be competing with Marcus Mariota and Nathan Peterman for the starting job.

Young is the latest in a long line of talented quarterbacks to come out of the University of Alabama. He joins the likes of Joe Namath, Ken Stabler, and AJ McCarron as former Crimson Tide quarterbacks to be drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Young has the potential to be a franchise quarterback for the Raiders. He has the arm strength, accuracy, and athleticism to be successful in the NFL. He will have the opportunity to learn from one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Derek Carr.

The Raiders have high hopes for Young and believe he can be the quarterback of the future in Las Vegas. He will have the opportunity to prove himself in the upcoming season and show why he was worthy of being a first-round pick.
