The group Wutah which is made of musical duo Afriyie and Kobby has been separated for quite too long which has sparked controversies that the group may be dead for good.
According to a member of the Wutah music group, Afriyie Wutah, the group is not dead as being speculated. Afriyie however revealed in an interview with Dr Pounds on the the ‘Hitz Gallery’ show on Hitz FM that they were currently working on their solo projects but the group is not dead. He also admitted that he was honoured by President Mahama’s disclosure that he loves their songs.
“I’m still a product of Wutah but we haven’t sat down to talk about coming back as a group, the Wutah brand isn’t dead even though we are doing our works separately.”
“My friend and I are not quarreling. We are all busy trying to get our acts together.”
“If Ghanaians are hungry for Wutah, it’s possible we can always do something together,” he added.
Wutah is known for hit songs “kotosa” and “burning desire”.
