Speaking at the press launch, Samuel Atuobi Baah, head of Communication and also host of the outfit’s morning entertainment show, revealed that the company had allocated a million dollars to support the fund. He added that the cash is to help creative arts personalities who have projects but can’t sponsor it because of lack of funds.
He continued that a five-member committee will analyze applications of creative arts personalities before granting them money for their initiatives. Sammy Flex as he is fondly called further disclosed that cash taken from the ZAF is interest free.
He further revealed that they will seek support from business partners and associates like Menzgold to to assist the new scheme.
Not just that, fund raising concerts will be organized in and outside the country to fuel the plan.
Interested persons will send their application to Zylofon Headquarters at East Legon in Accra for review.
