Best House Entertainment, organisers of the Golden City Music Awards (GCMA) have launched the 1st edition of the annual event.
This year’s edition dubbed ‘Promoting Essential Music In The West’ is expected to bring together musical legends from the cities in the region.
At the launch of 2018 edition of the Golden City Music Awards (GCMA) Roy Dennision said the award scheme intends to reward all artistes from the cities in the Western Region where natural resource were/are discovered.
Anyone from the Western Region automatically qualifies for the awards.
This year’s award seeks to review songs produced and played in 2017.
According to the PRO, there are 25 categories for the award which will be grouped under general and industry/technical assessment.
