All things being equal, nominations for the 5th edition of the Ghana DJ Awards will open from Tuesday January 10 to January 30 2016 according to reliable information received by www.nydjlive.com.
This will give room for fans to nominate their favourite Disc Jockeys (DJs) for various categories including but not limited to DJ Discovery of the year, Best Event DJ of the year and several others.
In all, there will be 23 categories to be awarded. According to organizers, qualified DJs can also nominate themselves and their works.
The theme for the 2017 Ghana DJ Awards is “United by Music“.
The Ghana DJ Awards was created to celebrate and appreciate the talents of Disc Jockeys (DJs) who promote Ghana music.
The main objective is to recognize the electronic dance music scene, and seeks to let the world know that the art of DJ’ing is a respected craft, with DJs playing a major role in the overall Music and Entertainment industry.
