Sarkodie has sent social media into a frenzy after he subtly endorsed the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, in a new song.
Sarkodie in a new song titled “Happy Day” ft Kuami Eugene endorsed the sitting president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo.
The multiple award-winning artiste in the new song mentioned how the energy crises and inflation some time ago made life unbearable for Ghanaians and how he was grateful that things are now back to normal under Akufo-Addo’s leadership. He also praised the president for making education free for Senior High School students — while ending the song with the popular NPP mantra which reads, “the battle is still the Lord’s.”
With this said, many have concluded the song is a clear endorsement of the NPP.
