Prior to the Black Stars’ participation in just ended AFCON, there were a lot of speculations that our budget for the AFCON ranged between $8million – $15million dollars. The Ministry of Youth and Sports described the speculations as untrue but more importantly, refused to disclose the budget, citing that it’s disclosure will serve as a source of distraction to the players.
