PRO for Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has reacted to Stonebwoy’s statement which suggested that persons who wanted to engage his services as an artiste should contact his manager and not Zylofon Media.
This statement which was made on Hitz FM in an interview with Andy Dosty was however in contradiction to an earlier statement released by the outfit which sought to warn the general public to desist from dealing with their artist(s) directly.
Portion of their statement read
“Any person desirous of employing any of [our artists] must seek express consent and concurrence of Zylofon
Media Company Limited. Acting contrary to this shall be deemed a deliberate infringement on the right of our
person, which shall warrant a swift and strict enforcement in a court of law.”
However, Arnold in an interview on Hitz FM told Sammy Forson that the legal team of Zylofon Music will take action and also release a statement in that regard to address the issue very soon
“we have given this to our legal team which is led by Kwame Boafo Akuffo and with time we are going to issue a statement in regard to the latest declaration by Stonebwoy because we believe as a label, it is important we respect contract and responsibilities both parties have in the contract so you guys will hear from our legal team.” He said
