Ghana was torn between the colors red and rainbow yesterday as the Phobians locked horns with the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium. At the end of the game, the Porcupine Warriors did put some fear into the Phobians after they emerged 1-2 victors albeit with a last gasp penalty which many viewed as “soft”.

One thing that caught the eye yesterday was the thousands of people who thronged the Accra Sports Stadium to witness the Titanic clash.

Such numbers obviously meant that much money was expected to be made from the gate proceeds……. But how much should we expect?

Ace sports journalist, Saddick Adams has revealed that 726,445 cedis was realised from the gate proceeds – an amount which beat the 639,000 cedis which was realised when Kototo played host to Coton Sport during last year’s Confederation’s Cup.

What can we say? The love is back!
