However, what’s true is that Kobe really paid his dues to the world of basketball, left his legacy and is gone!
In view of that, The Dallas Mavericks have announced that they have retired the jersey number 24 in honor of Kobe Bryant.
The Dallas Mavericks are an American professional basketball team based in Dallas and owned by Mark Cuban. The Mavericks compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league’s Western Conference Southwest Division.
“Kobe’s legacy transcends basketball and our organization has decided that the number 24 will never again be worn by a Dallas Maverick” read a portion of the statement which was issued out by Mark Cuban.
