After securing Asante Kotoko a place in next season’s CAF Champions league, many would have thought that it was the beginning of greater things to come for coach C.K Akonnor.
However, multiple reports trickling in indicates that Kotoko has parted ways with C.K Akonnor.
Akonnor is said to have comfirmed to Oyerepa FM that he was offered a promoted role to be technical director which he deeclined.
It is reported that Kotoko is after Ashgold’s Kjetil Zachariassen.
Kotoko is yet to issue an official statement to confirm C.K Akunnor’s departure.
