Since the lockdown began at 1am yesterday, a lot of people anticipated that some civilians will consciously disobey the lockdown order so as to test the patience of the security pesonnels who will be deployed to ensure that the citizenry comply with the lockdown order.

Be that as it may, some Ghanaians didn’t disappoint as there have been videos all over social media within which some security personnels were dealing with recalcitrant citizens who failed to obey the lockdown order.

Amongst the videos shared was a video which had the security personnels expertly disarming cutlass wielding civilians.

However, The Ghana Police Service via its official Twitter page has issued a disclaimer, asserting that the video is not related to the COVID-19 lockdown.

We have seen some videos which are not related to the ongoing COVID operation trending. We are sharing with you the details of those videos so that you all share with family and friends.#operationCOVIDsafety pic.twitter.com/rJ9uVuJYdo
