Criss Waddle has opened fire on former MUSIGA President and now, aspiring member of parliament for Asante Akyem South Constituency, Bice Obour Osei-Kuffour, known popularly as Obour.
According to Waddle, the former MUSIGA President is greedy, a waste of time and is ultimately a stomach politician and has advised that prospective voters do not vote for him in the upcoming elections.
Below are some controversies which marred Obour’s tenure as MUSIGA President:
2 MILLION CEDIS WAHALA
Music producer and CEO of the last two music group, Hammer was unimpressed with how Obour managed 2 million cedis which was given to MUSIGA in 2012. Obour asserted that he used the 2million cedis to conduct a research into Ghana’s music. Eish!!
A PLUS BRANDS OBOUR AS WORST EVER MUSIGA PRESIDENT
In December 2019, A Plus rated Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour), as the “worst-ever” President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). According to A Plus, MUSIGA was left messy under Obour, even though he admitted that the union had always had its struggles.
KWAW KESE SLAMS OBOUR
In 2016, Kwaw Kese opined that he did not recognise Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) as president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
According to the controversial rapper, Obour was a disappointment to all musicians. Kese added that since he assumed office, he never took any relevant decision to the benefit of musicians.
He further noted that: Obour never painted the offices of MUSIGA as the place, doors were [rusty] and further lamented that he (Obour) rented the place out to a church.
THE SHATTA WALE PARTING TWEET
When Obour’s tenure as MUSIGA President was up, below was Shatta Wale’s parting gift to him:
“Ok obuor is about to go. Musicians are fed up. Obuor is not competent to be our Musigha president. Musicians getting sick and can’t pay their bills. Obuor is a disappointment to the youth. No musician should lie about this , we are suffering. Obuor is big gold digger in our music industry. Musicians are crying. Obuor has taking too much of musicians in Ghana”.
