Gospel Artiste Kingzkid survived a car crush on New Year’s Day. The accident occurred when the Halleluyah act was returning home after 31st Watch Night Service.
He shared his experience on Instagram writing:
I just survived a serious accident on my way back from church.. Somehow, this has assured me that this year is a great one for me.. I thank God I survived unhurt. My first testimony for 2017, 01/01/2017, God saved me from Death! 1 Chorinthians 15:55 “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” I am Victorious through Jesus Christ!

Kingzkid was born as “Emmanuel Yoofi Essuman Mensah” ,a Fante haling from Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana. He is a child of prophecy and a man of Faith. He is the CEO of Gifted Music Records, one of the biggest independent Gospel Music record labels in Africa to which he is signed and is also the CEO of “AMPLIFY “. He discovered his true calling in his sophomore year in college (Central University College,Ghana)
At the young age of 26, He is considered a pioneer of Urban Gospel Music in Africa and was the first Ghanaian to introduce gospel music through different genres,such as Azonto, Pop and Electro Gospel Music. He released his debut Album “Vindicated” in September, 2011.With his hit song titled,”I Got my Jesus On” released in May 2013, Kingzkid embarked on a tour dubbed “Jesus On Tour”.
Its main aim was to create awareness of Jesus and to use Him (Jesus) as a medium to encourage morality and integrity among the youth. The Tour bus visited over 15 high schools and colleges Across Ghana . Kingzkid has shared stages with Mali Music, Lionel Petersen, Micah Stampley, No Tribe, Danny Nettey, Cwesi Oteng, Frank Edwards ,Selina Boateng, Ohemaa Mercy, Gifty Osei, Uncle Ato, Nii Okai, Joe Mettle and Many More.
