Celebrated Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has given a worthwhile advice to the up and coming actresses.

According to her, instead of focusing on becoming celebrities, they should rather invest into their craft and learn it very well.

She also advised that they do away with pride and should audition for the “smallest of roles”.

She called on them to exercise patience because without it, their dream of being celebrities won’t be realized.

More so, she said that despite being 17 years into the movie business, she still auditions for roles.

Dear Upcoming Actor,

Stop focusing on becoming a celebrity and study your craft.

Go for auditions and take the small roles and “waka pass” you’re given.

If you don’t have patience, don’t make this a dream either.

Because nearly 17 years later,I’m still auditioning for roles

The bottomline is that success isn’t mostly instantaneous and so we must be measured. However, producers must also try their best to ensure that at least, they take very good care of their actors/actresses.
