Mostly, raising a family is atop the wish list of any lady. But then, we are reminded that if wishes are horses, even beggars will ride.

That reminds us that we do not always get what we wish for at the exact time we need it. Broadcast journalist, Serwaa Amihere has taken to twitter to impart some words of knowledge on those who think that a woman’s accomplishment has to be judged on her marital status. Thus, irrespective of the mountains surmounted as a lady, the ultimate is that you get married else, society is gonna look down upon you.

Serwaa thinks that society ought to stop viewing marriage as the greatest achievement for women.

Society has made marriage appear to be the greatest achievement for women! It’s sad.
I mean I like it and I want to get married but let’s not make it look like women who aren’t married haven’t accomplished anything.
