Actor John Dumelo has apologized over his comments he made earlier, threatening to beat anyone who tried to rig in the upcoming elections.
The Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), said that his party will not sit aloof to watch anybody rig the 2020 elections. The actor-turn-politician said at a rally that unlike in the past where the party decided not to contest any defeat, they have resolved to beat up anyone to dares to manipulate the election results.
However, John has today rendered an apology to Ghanaians, stating that he’s a man of peace and will always promote peace. Taking to Twitter he wrote:
“I’m wholeheartedly sorry for my comments in the said video. I’m a man of peace and will always promote peace. Let’s make Ghana and Ayawaso West a better place,”
