The flag bearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party has been projected to win the the 2016 elections with an absolute majority over President John Mahama, several media houses can confirm.
As Ghanaians await the final declaration by the Electoral Commission, congratulatory messages have begun pouring in and actor John Dumelo couldn’t keep his silence any longer.
The actor who was a frontrunner of the NDC’s 2016 celebrity campaign went MIA in the last 48 hours but however decided to break his silence with a congratulatory message to the President elect.
According to the actor, the NDC fought a good fight but in the end the people of Ghana spoke with a different tune.
He wrote:
We fought a good fight…but the people have spoken. Congrats to president elect @NAkufoAddo.
