Jonathan Mensah Apologizes For Letting The Nation Down

Columbus Crew SC defender, Jonathan Mensah has apologized for the Stars’ abysmal performance during the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON). The Stars were ousted by Tunisia 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 game in the Round of 16 stage.

Prior to this tournament, The Stars’ worse performance had been at least, a semi-final berth since 2008.

Jonathan Mensah thanked Ghanaians for their immense support and also apologized for letting the nation down.

Jonathan Mensah also reiterated the team’s desire to keep trying till they “eventuarry” win the trophy.
